ET BRACKET

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

E.T. Bracket is open to all drag bikes and street bikes. The class is run in an E.T. bracket racing, or handicap, format.

DESIGNATION:

The class designation is ET. All entrants must display this designation on the side of their motorcycle by their bike number or in an appropriate place for viewing by the tower.

FORMAT:

This is an E.T. bracket class run on a .500 full tree. This is an all run field.

POINTS:

E.T. Bracket is a points class and will be contested at races to be held at Carolina Dragway. Points will be tabulated and a champion will be crowned at the end of the season.

BRAKES:

Front brakes are required.

CHAIN GUARDS:

Chain guards are required on all entries.

ELECTRICAL:

2-steps are permitted. Delay boxes or starting line timers and Electronic Throttle Stops are prohibited. Delay boxes/timers cannot simply be “zeroed out” or disconnected but must be completely removed from the motorcycle. Any violation of this rule is immediate grounds for ejection from the race and possible revocation of membership in the association.

LIGHTS:

Single rear mounted tail light required for night time racing.

CLUTCH:

Any style clutch permitted.

TIRES:

DOT tires or any size slick is permitted.

WHEELIE BARS:

Wheelie bars are permitted.

GROUND CLEARANCE:

All bikes must have a minimum of 2” ground clearance with rider sitting on bike, straight up perpendicular to the ground.

GENERAL SAFETY:

All riders must have a SNELL 95 or higher full face helmet, shoes above the ankle, leather gloves, and a

leather jacket. Any rider running faster than 6.99 must also have leather pants. Pants and jacket are not

required to be zipped together. Nylon or textile jackets and pants are not permitted, even if they have pads. All jackets and pants must be made of 100% leather. Any bike deemed unsafe by the race coordinator will not be allowed to race with CSRA.

NOTE: All questions should be directed to the race coordinator during an event. The race coordinator has the final say on all race procedures and rules. No exceptions.
